Home Alone Curriculum
The Home Alone Class helps prepare children for the responsibility of caring for themselves when home alone. The course is typically 1.5 - 2 hours for one session. It’s geared towards children ages 7.5 through 11. In the state of MN, children are not be left home alone until they are at least 8 years old.
Schools and organizations can now purchase the Home Alone Curriculum for use within their program. The curriculum includes all instructions, activities and handouts needed to teach the course. It also includes materials to support caregivers when making the decision to leave children home alone unsupervised.
